The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has published an updated list of ingredients permitted for use in infant and follow-on formula, following an evaluation of applications submitted by food companies.

The list shared by the Ministry contains the latest regulations regarding the ingredients that manufacturers can include in their product formulations. With the new list, the aim is to strengthen compliance with international standards regarding the use of safe and nutritious ingredients in products intended for infants and young children.

Officials stated that the updates will both guide manufacturers and support consumers’ access to safe products.

It was announced that the updated list of ingredients can be accessed via the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s official website.
