What is Industrial Certification?
Industrial certification is a set of inspection, surveillance and certification activities that independently verify whether machinery, equipment, installations and workplaces meet safety, health and legal compliance requirements.
In Türkiye, these inspections are largely mandatory. Within the scope of the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment (OHSÜY), Pressure Equipment Regulation and relevant EU directives, employers are obliged to have periodic inspections and controls of certain equipment and installations carried out by authorized organizations. Businesses that fail to fulfill this obligation may face both occupational safety risks and heavy administrative sanctions.
